NEWS Funding Programme
The NEWS Funding Programme supports ideas and projects in the environmental and wildlife sectors. It assists applicants in getting small, but innovative projects started with grants of up to N$7000. Projects supported are usually either educational or research orientated and noncommercial.
The Programme hopes to build trustful relationships between successful applicants and NEWS with mutual benefits. Apart from the grants, some NEWS members and committee members with relevant experience are willing to support and guide projects. Through our network and media activities, we are also able to help projects reach a broader audience where applicable.
